The Kingdoms of Mallencia

Dremonia

The Kingdom of Dremonia, also known as the Holy City, is thought to be home of the Gods. Since the day King Tymalthus Eldraz floated down from the heavens after receiving his blessing from the Gods themselves, he renamed his Kingdom Dremonia, to give his land a fresh start and new identity as Mallencia’s chosen land. After the lands learned of Tymalthus’s legendary rule, they were quick to ally themselves with him and Dremonia for years to come. Tymalthus created Dremonia on the emphasis to be a home for all, even though the vast majority of population remained humans. During Tymalthus’s reign as ruler, Mallencia' endured the most peaceful period of its existence. Impressive housing and shops were built, community flourished, lavish structures were built, and the breathtaking Eldraz Palace was created. He and his kingdom were loved by most of Mallencia’s inhabitants. However, not everyone recognized Tymalthus as a God. The Blood War began once Knold, the Lord of Blood, saw Tymalthus and the alliance of the four most powerful states as a threat to him. At the war’s end, Knold gained the upper hand and killed Tymalthus inside his own Kingdom of Dremonia. The rule fell to Tymalthus Eldraz’s first born son, Zorick Eldraz. Who rules Dremonia today, with a different perspective on how Dremonia should be viewed.

Mastos

The Kingdom of Mastos is unlike any other. Ruled and inhabited by mastonians, a race typically described as giants, Mastos was one of the strongest states there ever was. The Stormfoot royal family has ruled Mastos for generations. As they are greatly appreciated by their people, the Stormfoot royal family does not act like classic royalty. They spend their days in the community, helping their people prosper in any way they can. Mastos took a heavy hit during the Blood War, as Knold targeted their community. After attacks and harsh war tactics, the King of Mastos, Utterack Stormfoot, was forced to back out of the war, leaving his closest ally, Dremonia, vulnerable. King Zorick Eldraz blamed the mastonians for being cowardly as their surrender led to the death of his father. After years of planning, Zorick called for war against King Ulrich Stormfoot, Utterack's first born son and new ruler of Mastos. Mastos found themselves unprepared for war, as the Eldraz army swiftly defeated them after a few years of war. Today, Mastos has been decimated, as the mastonians are in the midst of a genocide. They are currently being hunted by Zorick and the Eldraz army, as the King demands no loose ends can remain from the war. For the few remaining, everyday remains a struggle.

Glades

The Kingdom of Glades, even during times of war, has known nothing but peace within its walls. The majority of Glades population are tree elves, elves with bronze skin and a love for nature. However, this kingdom is recognized by all of Mallencia’s inhabitants for being a safe heaven to any that require it. Glades holds an impressive culture that is succumbed by its people working along side one another. Ruled by the royal Gladeheart family, Glades has been known for its beautiful and wonderous structures that tower towards the sky. The tree elves have a high respect and love for their king and queen, as they are grateful for the glorious state they live in. Currently, the Queen of Glades is Queen Salienna Gladeheart, who found and wed an unusual husband for the royal Gladeheart family. She welcomed and fell in love with Charden Eldraz, Zorick Eldraz’s first born son. Charden fled Dremonia after years of abuse and realization of the atrocities is father planned to commit. Arriving to Glades, Charden met with the Gladeheart family and instantly fell in love with Salienna. After her father’s death of disease, Salienna was crowned Queen of Glades married Charden, making him the first non-elf King Glades has ever recognized. Today, the two rule side by side and are cherished and loved by all Glades citizens. Charden took Salienna’s name, as he has never known what it meant to be accepted by a family until he met his beautiful wife.

Lykos

The Kingdom of Lykos is the beloved home of the lykosians of Mallencia. Lykosians are the most unique race in Mallencia, as they derived from wolves. With the head, jowls, claws, and hind legs of a wolf, and body of a man, the lykosians have a very distinct appearance. The ruler of Lykos has been King Rapho Daggenthaw for many years. He has seen countless battles and is a renowned general and king. The Queen of Lykos passed away from giving birth to Rapho Daggenthaw’s only son, Drit. Drit now acts as the head general of Lykos, as he has followed in the footsteps as his father. King Daggenthaw has kept a strong relationship with Glades, as the two kingdoms have been allies for generations. They both share the Gray Water Bay and conquer the western side of Mallencia.

Characters

Within the Kingdom of Dremonia live the deceived humans.

King Tymalthus Eldraz: Blessed by the gods, Tymalthus was lowered down from the heavens for all to see. With his compassionate and powerful nature, Tymalthus won the hearts of thousands across Mallencia. Worshiped and described as a god, Tymalthus was thought of as the savior of all Mallencia’s people. None was more respected than he. The day the divine ruler was slain by Knold, the Lord of Blood, has left a scar amongst all of Dremonia’s inhabitants… especially his children.

King Zorick Eldraz: The first son of King Tymalthus, Zorick was next in line for the throne. The day his father was murdered, Zorick made a silent vow. A vow promising to do whatever it takes to achieve the goals his father failed to. From the moment Zorick held his father’s corpse in his arms, the young man stayed determined to conquer Mallencia, and never let anyone go against his rule, for that is what’s best for his people.

Silvos Eldraz: The second son of King Tymalthus. Silvos was a loyal and renowned warrior beside his older brother, Zorick. Once his brother took the throne, they shared disagreements about what was best for Mallencia. Believing Zorick was corrupted by his own mind, Silvos explained his discontent. After an altercation, Silvos fled Dremonia. After years of being hunted by his older brother, he was finally found. Zorick received confirmation of his brother’s death, securing his permanent position of power.

Queen Margret Eldraz: The first wife of Zorick Eldraz and mother to six of his children. Margret was greatly loved by her husband, children, and people of Dremonia. She was a beautiful woman with a nurturing soul. Upon her death on orders from Knold, Zorick and all of his children began their downward spiral toward misery and revenge.

Queen Sorina Eldraz:  The second wife of Zorick Eldraz and mother to four of his children. Queen Sorina found herself handed to King Zorick by the king of Havenfall, her older brother, King Tybalt Noraster. Trapped in Dremonia and married to a king with a decaying psyche, Sorina wishes her life had taken a different path. The only love she contains is for her children, especially since they receive very little from their father.

Okkin Eldraz: The second son of King Zorick and Queen Margret Eldraz. From his mere size, some speculate Okkin was descended from giants. No man in Dremonia has ever seemed more intimidating than him. After experiments conducted by his father, Okkin has achieved something no man ever has. Abilities to melt steel with his bare hands, thicker skin, and immense power. Okkin has become the perfect soldier for Zorick. However, behind the red burning eyes of the perfect soldier, is just a man wanting nothing more than to be a commoner, but cursed to serve by the duty of an Eldraz.

Lucaria Eldraz: The second daughter of King Zorick and Queen Margret Eldraz. Everyday Lucaria peers out her window, looking over Dremonia and out into Mallencia. She wishes she could have a life outside the palace walls, but fears that day will never come. Zorick holds her inside the Eldraz Palace to ensure her safety, along with his own. If his enemies learned of what Lucaria can do, they would stop at nothing until she is in their clutches.

Sammiel Eldraz: The fourth son of King Zorick Eldraz and Queen Marget. The day of Margret’s death, Sammiel happened to also be unfortunate enough to be caught in Knold’s plan. At a very young age, the Eldraz child never got to grow and become a unique specimen of Mallencia, like the rest of the dominant Eldraz children.

Beatrice and Briana Eldraz: The first and second daughters of King Zorick and Queen Sorina. Twins at birth, Justine and Juliana learned to fight as a unit. The twins are a special and powerful duo, destroying enemy compounds and plundering troublesome territories. With each outing, the two seek their father’s approval. Even with their success, they rarely receive a loving gesture from him.

Dakken Eldraz: The second son of King Zorick and Queen Sorina. Strong but emotional, the young warrior Dakken has won his fair share of battles. Outshined by his older half-brother Okkin, Dakken holds resentment towards him and most of his siblings. At only 20 years old, Dakken looks for war wherever he goes.

Ebion Trillit, the Royal Sentinel: One of two of King Zorick’s royal sentinels, Ebion is tasked with being a commanding officer in his army. The weight of his king’s demands and expectations takes a toll on the sentinel, as he does not agree with all the decisions given to him. However he goes on and participates for one reason, the love he has for the king’s daughter, Lucaria.

Simmot Rollen, the Royal Sentinel: One of two of King Zorick’s sentinels, Simmot is capable and willing to do whatever his king asks of him. He strongly believes Zorick is a rightful god and is doing everything he can to save his people.

Within the Kingdom of Glades live the flourishing tree elves.

King Charden Gladeheart: The first son of King Zorick and Queen Margret Eldraz. At his birth, Zorick was certain his child would become a powerful ruler. As he grew up Charden found his life within Dremonia stressful and taxing. Constant training, expectations, and abuse eventually turned Charden against his father. Upon his mother’s death he knew nothing would protect him from his father’s insanity. Even with the love Charden held for his siblings, he chose to flee his home, in search of a better life. After running across Mallencia, Charden found himself in Glades. Not too long after being accepted into their community, Charden fell in love with the princess of the kingdom, Salienna. Years go by and eventually, he marries Salienna and becomes king of Glades. Today they rule side by side, working to make Mallencia a better place for all.

Queen Salienna Gladeheart: The current queen of Glades and wife to King Charden Gladeheart. Salienna’s family has ruled the Kingdom of Glades for generations. Allowing her husband to take control of the military and diplomatic issues, Salienna chooses to be more involved in the domestic politics to be there for her kind.

Princess Sepharia Gladeheart: The only child of King Charden and Queen Salienna Gladeheart. As one of the most compassionate individuals, Sepharia walks through the streets of Glades learning all she can about her people. Even as only half elf, Sepharia is loved by all the inhabitants of Glades, as her presence brings a smile to all those she comes across.

Sir Lawrence: The head advisor to Charden Gladeheart, Lawrence has always been his most trusty companion. Whenever Charden needs a second opinion or a favor of any kind, Lawrence has and always will be there for him.

Within the Kingdom of Mastos live the dwindling mastonians.

King Utterack Stormfoot: King of Mastos during Blood War against Knold. Beloved king by all mastonians who are referred to as giants for their large size. After becoming surrounded and terrorized by Knold, Utterack had to back out of the Blood War which left Tymalthus and Dremonia vulnerable, leading to Knold’s raid and his death.

King Ulrich Stormfoot: Son of King Utterack Stormfoot. Ulrich fought against the Eldraz during Zorick’s reign. He was forced into the war by Zorick, as the king of Dremonia seeks the death of all mastonians. Inevitably he fell to Zorick as the strength of the Eldraz overcame Ulrich and his people. Today, he sits in Zorick’s dungeon as his execution grows near.

Prince Rackon Stormfoot: Son of King Ulrich Stormfoot. The sole survivor of the Stormfoot family. After watching King Zorick destroy his home, massacre his people, and kill his mother and sister, Rackon truly is alone. On the run, Rackon believes he has a sense of where to go and what to do. However, he is not certain on the best path to his goal. He will do whatever he can to save whatever remains of the mastonian race and achieve vengeance for his family.

Within Knold’s castles lie the bloodthirsty vasgoths.

Knold, The Lord of Blood: Knold’s origin is unknown to all, for he has been lurking in Mallencia for hundreds of years. He stands over six and a half feet tall, with massive bat-like wings, long sharp and unbreakable claws, long ears stretched to the back of his head, gray skin, a large head, and bright yellow eyes. With a single bite, Knold can infect anyone with his curse, transforming them into one of his children. If the vasgoth gene is accepted, the victim will turn into an ascendant, as they grow claws and fangs. Knold, along with all vasgoths, must consume flesh and blood to survive. The feeling is more powerful and euphoric than any drug. Knold’s army typically willingly serves as they are grateful for the power he has given them. Along with his ability to turn anyone into a vasgoth, he also can telepathically communicate with any being. While his motives are uncertain, Knold never allows any ruler to become too powerful. He says, “Mallencia requires balance.” Whatever balance Knold seeks, he will do anything to achieve.

Jace Eldraz: The third son of King Zorick and Queen Margret Eldraz. Angry and troubled from birth, Jace has always held resentment toward his father. He cared for his siblings and mother greatly as a child, but upon Margret’s death everything changed. The abuse from Zorick got worse toward Jace, and once Charden left, Jace was targeted even more. He eventually fled Dremonia as well. However, Jace ran down a much different path than his brother Charden. One that boils Zorick’s blood as he no longer sees Jace as his kin.

Vurrack, former warrior of Redmaw tribe: One of two of Knold’s disciples. Vurrack is a large orc found in the plains of the Middle Lands. As a lykosian, he is much different than humans and elves and more closely related to wolves. The lykosians are humanoid wolf creatures who are very intelligent and just as capable as any other race. With the head, tail and claws of a wolf, lykosians are fierce warriors. King Daggenthaw has achieved being part of one of the four most powerful kingdoms in all of Mallencia with an impressive army of thousands of lykosians. With only losing one battle to the Lord of Blood himself, Rapho Daggenthaw has rarely known defeat.

From a young pup, Drit has been trained to be just as cunning and skilled as his father before him. While having great respect for his father, Drit hopes to also become a great ruler of Lykos one day.

Vargar Furcottel: A great general of the army of Lykos, Vargar is well respected throughout his kingdom. Unlike other lykosians, Vargar is a crossbreed between a lykosian and a human. His mother is a lykosian and his primary caregiver as he has never had a relationship with his father. Vargar, however, never let that tamper his spirit as he is one of the friendliest and also deadliest beings in Mallencia. Strangely enough, Vargar finds himself laughing while in the middle of combat, as he has fun in everything he does.

Within the Kingdom of Havenfall lie the blinded humans.

King Tybalt Noraster: An ally to King Zorick, Tybalt has become wealthy as he does Zorick’s bidding. While having his own kingdom, he would be nowhere without the Eldraz influence.
